Today I'm making some employment related progress...

I'm  Working with Rapid City VR and SDWORKS to fire up some needed job training!

Mulling over a nearly immediate opening for an income-contingent apartment in Lead, SD--a beautiful village in the Black Hills.  The only gist?  It's 50 miles from Rapid City, although it is near the famous and historical Deadwood, SD (a lot of casinos here), and the larger Spearfish, which I have yet to visit, but could be promising, depending on the job.

I visited the area last weekend, and was taken with it's beauty, but with no real income yet, and with some property lot prices topping the $100K mark, I'm going to need more than just an $11 dollar an hour casino job to buy anything useful.

I mull over the desire to be surrounded by life-affirming and soul-healing land areas, and the need for money; alternately, I could take the apartment (if approved), and just 'walk by faith' for a while, although more conventional thinking is winning out, even as I write this.  (This is a fault in my person in one way; as I see it, this is the very reason I came here!)

I didn't come to this state to necessarily 'play it safe,' relative to New Experiences--especially the type that could bring forth my own inherent abilities to draw forth the kind of life experiences the deepest part of my being truly desires.
